What shade of blue works best when using the ''blue screen'' technique for movie-making

You can key off of about any blue or green. Are you making a

Then go buy fabric in the closest color, or have the local paint store  
match it if you're painting a background. If you want to spend some cash,  
you can buy green/blue screen paint or buy the foam backed green screen

Any color can be the alpha channel, as long as that color
