Actually, there is a kit you can buy to replace the ''roller''

part that is adjustable to different sized windows. You will have to know

both the length & width of ur screen to be able to purchase the one that

will best extend to ur size screen. You can buy a window shade kit at

JoAnne Fabrics, but most of the JoAnne Etc stores have a bigger selection

of sizes. Then you remove the screen from the roller (or in some cases
I've simply had to cut it off) & staple it on to the new roller assembly.
But, for a projector screen know that the kits operate on a spring
mechanism like how a window shade does so you will have to probably guide
it up. One other hint, there are two types of brackets contained in the
kits. One is used to attach the shade to the inside of a window frame &
one can be used to attach flat to the wall. Your application will require
the latter, but use anchor mollies to attach the bracket to the wall for
extra support so it doesn't pull out of the wall & hurt someone. Most of
the kits run between $10-25 depending on the extension size.

I love to use diynet.com to find things like this.

I also use my guys & girls at Home Depot & Lowes. They may have a

suggestion to fix the roller in ur current overhead screen.

If I were in a really tight spot I might try to use a large wooden dowel

with a white shower curtain over it which I could roll up. I know it

would be ''southern engineered'' but it would work & cost less than $20
I am part of a parent teacher group & we raise money for things like this.
Is there a group at ur school, a motivated mom who could sell candy or
some simple fundraiser to purchase you one? Valentines is coming up &
last year we sold candy grams to raise money.we made almost $200 in our
tiny school. (we sold them for $1 & passed them out on V-day)

Hope you find a solution.
